Open Gardens 2021 with music, art, cakes and more

Plans are taking shape now for Gargrave Open Gardens on 17-18 July 2021. Advance tickets will be on sale from early July at Twin Locks Garden Centre, Gargrave, at £6 per person. Tickets on the day will be available from outside Gargrave Village Hall at £8. Children are free.

As well as the 25 or so gardens to explore, there will be live music from a chamber choir, handbell ringers and some roving minstrels. Our artist in residence will be producing something creative in one of the gardens. You will find light refreshments available from St Andrew’s Church on Saturday between 11.30 and 4.30 and on Sunday from 2.00 to 4.30. Note – there are no refreshments on sale at the Village Hall this year.

Gardens will be open from 11am to 5pm. We have two special gardens opening a little further afield from the village of Gargrave. One is in Bell Busk and you can extend your visit there because it will open from 10am to 6pm. The other is in Bank Newton, by the Leeds-Liverpool canal, and is opening for the first time this year. There are several other newcomer gardens to the event, within Gargrave.

Please come and support this much-valued community event, the proceeds from which all go to St Andrew’s Church.
