Passports for visiting a record-breaking 30 gardens around Gargrave will be on sale from Twinlocks Garden Centre and Gargrave Coop from Saturday morning (3 July). Advance tickets are £6 per person, a £2 saving on tickets bought on the day. On 17-18 July you can buy tickets from outside Gargrave Village Hall. Children are free.
A warm welcome to the dozen gardens that are opening for the first time. The event includes a special 2-acre garden in Bell Busk, 2 miles from Gargrave. You can extend your visit there because it will be open an extra hour at either end of each day, from 10am to 6pm.
Visitors on Saturday will be serenaded by Pinsuti chamber choir and Craven Accordion Band, along with solo musicians. On Sunday there will be artists producing horticulturally-themed works in two of the gardens.
Look out for the quirky container competition organised by Linda from the Dalesman. And if you are lucky you might just encounter a real-life llama or two…

We have missed out on so much that brings us together over the last year. Please come and support this much-loved community event. All proceeds go to St Andrew’s Church.

Hi Linda, We have looked into selling tickets online but I’m afraid haven’t worked out how we could do it. We need to move with the times – maybe next year…
